Studio FAQ
How are Studios rendered and at what quality?
Studios can be rendered in a low-res preview and high-res 4k resolutions. Preview renders can take between 15 to 30 mins to be rendered and they are intended to quickly provide an understanding of the final results and not to be consumed as media.
High-res rendered images have a resolution of up to 4096 x 4096 pixel and they can take approximately 30-mins to 90-mins.
Please note that the render time can vary according to multiple factors such as the number of options of the main products sent to render and the geometric complexity of the Studio you’ve created.

Main product features and options
In order to showcase the sofa bed as open it would be necessary to change the position of the coffee table in a separate Studio
By rendering only the the "close" option of the feature "Positions", all the upholstery options can be visualize in the same Studio.
How do I get access to my images after they are produced?
The content created via Studio can be accessed in the CMS and downloaded and also consumed via the Cylindo API. Studio content is currently a new product type labeled as “Studio”, hence by filtering the Product list view accordingly, you will see all the Studios created so far. To easily find the scenes you have created, select the Product Types filter and select Studio.
How can I download or access my Studio images?
You can download any locked or published version of a studio. To do so, simply select the configuration options you desire of the main product and click on the download button.
Select the resolution and image settings to download the asset.

You can also add Studio images to Curator and access via our Content API.
How do I create another version of a Studio?
You can iterate on each Studio you have created by adding a new version. By creating multiple versions of the same studio you can easily compare multiple low-res previews and then choose which one should be rendered in high-res.
A new version of the same Studio will always be based from a previous version, and it will inherit the products and props, their positions, as well as the room and camera settings. Once a new version is added, it will be opened in Studio where you can perform any change to the previously mentioned elements.
The version number can be seen in the CMS and in the top left corner of the Studio interface.

Will my Studio auto-save?
Every time the Studio creation flow is launched, and a room template is selected, a new Studio is automatically created as a version 1 and a default name is assigned, regardless of whether the Studio has been sent to render or not.
What do the version statuses mean?
Draft
Studio versions that have not been sent to render will appear in “Draft” status in the CMS. A version in Draft status can be opened, modified and sent to render in Studio.
Locked
Once a Studio version is sent to render, either as preview or high-res, it will be locked. Locked versions cannot be opened and edited in the Studio interface. If you wish to make a change to a locked Studio version, a new version based on the locked one has to be added.
Published
In order to be able to distribute a Studio via the Cylindo API, a locked Studio version has to be published. You can publish a Studio version by clicking on the “Publish” button from the Studio version page in the CMS.
