Adding Cylindo Imagery to Emails and Order Confirmation

Leverage your photorealistic 3D content in the order confirmation and abandoned cart email and more!

Email can be a powerful tool if you know how to use it. When customers purchase a product from your e-commerce store, the best practice is to send them a confirmation email to let them know that you received their order and that it is being processed. On the other hand, an abandoned cart email can be the best way to recover lost sales. Personalization in cart abandonment emails induces higher customer engagement rates and reduces cart abandonment rates by 10%-30% (Barilliance).

Check out our documentation on how to integrate with Klaviyo! They are able to set up abandon cart, cross-sell, upsell, and other emails where you can utilize our assets.

What is the order confirmation/abandoned cart email?

With Cylindo Content API, you can leverage photorealistic visuals and embed them in the order confirmation or abandoned cart emails to create a unified end-to-end furniture buyer journey.

With about a 70% open rate (Sleeknote), order confirmation emails are not just important for a pleasant shopping experience, but you can also use them as an opportunity to upsell by featuring high-quality images from products in the same collection.

In case your visitors just add products to their carts and leave your website, you can always use a follow-up email to remind them what they left behind and offer some incentive if they proceed with the purchase. Embedding a photorealistic image of the exact product they were looking at can entice them to return to your website and be a game-changer for your online sales.

Key benefits:

  • Instill confidence with an order confirmation email featuring a photorealistic image of the product
  • Use the order confirmation email for upselling products from the same collection
  • Persuade visitors to go back to their abandoned cart and proceed with the purchase

How is it done?

Not all email tools and platforms have web hooks or tracking that can gather our assets. If not, you can download the images and import them to those tools. If they do have the capability, then you can use our Content API to call the needed asset using the product ID and the feature set (configuration the customer chooses) to get that image.

As mentioned, Klaviyo is a tool we already have documentation for that you can reference to see how something like this can be setup.
