Important Maintenance Announcement

We’re undertaking some critical upgrades to enhance the performance and reliability of our platform which will cause some functionalities to be limited during the maintenance window. We want to ensure you’re fully informed about what to expect during this time.

Update: 28/1

Due to scaling issues that affected a number of some customer sites we migrate all traffic back to our legacy infrastructure on 27/1. We resumed the migration at 8am CET 28/1 after refining our strategy to ensure customer sites would not be impacted.

We have now migrated our content serving infrastructure and are gradually shifting traffic towards the new environment (at time of writing 50% of traffic is being served by the new infrastructure) and we are seeing low latency and error rates significantly below minimum thresholds. We will continue with this approach to complete this stage of the migration by 10am CET 29/1.

Once completed, we will proceed with the migration of the CMS to ensure a return to full functionality. We apologise for any interruptions experienced and will share more details with impacted customers over the coming days.

Maintenance Schedule and Expected Impact

Sunday, January 26th:

  • What’s happening: Rendering options will be temporarily disabled from 6:00pm CET as we prepare for migrating our platform to improved infrastructure.
  • Impact on you: You will not be able to create new renders of Products and Studios during this time. Other functionality and previously created content will remain unaffected.

Monday, January 27th:

  • What’s happening: We’ll begin migrating several backend services at 9:00am CET to improved infrastructure. Once completed, we will proceed with the migration of the CMS. We expect the upgrades to run for the majority of the day and will provide status updates directly within the CMS.
  • Impact on you: While we anticipate a smooth transition, there may be periods of reduced functionality or intermittent disruptions within the application. Rest assured, we are working to keep these to an absolute minimum and are monitoring the system closely.

What You Need to Know:

Your customers won’t be affected: Content and how it is served to your customers is not affected and will continue to function as usual, and all previously published content will remain visible on your sites.

Full functionality is on the way: Once the migration is complete, rendering and publishing new products will resume seamlessly and we will undergo a period of hyper vigilance to ensure there are no residual after effects of the migration.

Why This Matters: This maintenance ensures that our platform remains reliable and capable of meeting your needs as they grow. The upgrades we’re implementing will help improve performance and maintain the stability you rely on. We’re focused on making this transition as seamless as possible and appreciate your understanding as we complete this work.
